SHE Week
SHE WEEK is an extension of our EMERGE Women’s Summit and is aimed as an outreach to high school and young gap year or early college student females (ages 14-22) who don’t have formal activities during the summer and who are in desperate need of professional women to mentor them and show them what is possible outside of their current situation or life circumstances. Through a series of planned events each day, our goal is to engage seasoned female professionals in a variety of activities that will speak and breathe life into the next generation.
What You’ll Experience
- College tours
- A service project where they helped clean up the Pierce Street Community Garden and plant new seeds
- Guest Presentations & Activities including:
- Personality assessments giving the girls insights into their strengths and potential blind spots
- Understanding cultural differences and appreciating others
- Writing a professional email and thank you note
- Effective communication and emotional regulation
- Setting up your financial future and how to establish and maintain credit
- Civic engagement and leadership no matter your age
- Visioning for your future and goal setting
